According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 496.60 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Monday’s data, August 11, 2014.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 162.46 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 334.14 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 498.08 crore, while they bought stock options worth Rs 10.98 crore.
