According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 2421.39 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Tuesday’s data, August 12, 2014.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1390.78 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1030.62 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 639.29 crore, while they sold stock options worth Rs 51.12 crore.
