According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 102.86 crore in futures and options segments on Saturday, January 07, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 9.01 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 88.85 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 5.00 crore while there were no transaction in stock options.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on January 07, 2012 is 32.34%.
