Aban Offshore has allotted 13,75,000 shares worth Rs 53.76 crore to Deepa Reji Abraham, belonging to Promoter Group, after the receipt of balance 75% of purchase price in respect of preferential warrants issued in February 2014.
Post allotment, the Deepa Reji Abraham’s share holding in the company has increased to 5.34% of the total shares in the company from 3% of the total shares.
Aban Offshore (formerly Aban Loyd Chiles Offshore) is India’s largest offshore drilling services provider to oil companies, mainly for ONGC. It is a company which provides oil field services for offshore exploration and production of hydrocarbons to the oil industry in India and abroad.
