Shreyas Shipping surges on starting new cargo ship operations between Kochi and Mundra port

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics is currently trading at Rs. 40.00, up by 0.70 points or 1.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 39.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 40.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 40.80 and Rs. 39.50 respectively. So far 1018 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 45.95 on 11-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 17.10 on 07-Apr-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 40.80 and Rs. 35.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 87.83 crore.

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics has started new cargo ship SSL Mumbai's operations between Kochi and Mundra ports. This will be the Mumbai-based company’s third cargo ship operating on the West Coast.

The company had acquired ‘SSL Mumbai’ in the month of June 2014. The Japan built (1997) 18, 602 GRT vessel has capacity of 1613 TEUs. The vessel will be operated on the West coast of India with routing of Mundra - Cochin - Mangalore - Goa - Kandla - Mundra on a fortnightly service.

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics, a Transworld Group of company, was incorporated primarily to own and operate vessels for feedering of containers between Indian ports and internationally renowned container transshipment ports.
