Amit Shah interacts with locals in border areas, says India will give befitting reply to Pak

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah, who visited the migration camp in Jammu and Kashmir's R S Pura Sector said that he has been assured by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh that India will give befitting reply to Pakistan in wake of the ongoing ceasefire violations from the other side of the border and said that the Centre is sensitive towards the problems faced by the people residing in border areas and will work towards solving them in a time bound manner.

Amit Shah said that the party is aware of the problems of the people, who migrated during 1947, 1965 and 1971, the issue of their voting rights, matter of compensation to those who lost their lands due to border fencing and people whose lives have been affected by continued shelling by Pakistan. He assured that the Central Government would work towards addressing all these problems.

Amit Shah further said that the issue of voting rights of the migrated people rests with the Jammu and Kashmir government and added that the days of Omar Abdullah-led government are numbered and there will soon be a BJP government in the state.
