Cement maker ACC reported a 13.7 per cent increase in sales in May at 1.99 million tonnes (MT) over 1.75 MT in the corresponding month last year. Production of the company also grew up to 2.01 MT in May this year over 1.82 MT in the same month last year. Cumulative sales of the company during the January-May period stood at 10.26 MT compared to 9.1 MT in the same period last year. Production grew to 10.28 MT over 9.15 MT in January-May period of last year.
Ambuja Cements’s production in May stood at 1.74 MT, as against 1.90 MT in the year-ago period. The company's dispatches in May stood at 1.76 MT, as against 1.89 MT in the year-ago period. For the January-May period this year, its production stood at 9.14 MT as against 9.15 MT in the year ago, while its dispatches for the same period stood at 9.33 MT as against 9.17 MT in the corresponding period of the last yearcrackcrack| Company Name | CMP |
