Century Plyboards gains on disinvesting its entire shareholding in ABL

Century Plyboards (India) is currently trading at Rs. 91.90, up by 0.70 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 91.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 92.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.00 and Rs. 91.50 respectively. So far 46107 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 96.90 on 25-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 22.05 on 03-Mar-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 96.90 and Rs. 88.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2041.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.46% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.39% and 22.14% respectively.

Century Plyboards (India) has disinvested its entire shareholding in its subsidiary Aegis Business (ABL) on August 23, 2014. Consequently, ABL and its subsidiary Aegis Overseas ceased to be subsidiaries of the company with effect from August 23, 2014.

Century Plyboards is largest seller of plywood and decorative veneers in the Indian organized plywood market. The manufacturing facility of company is located at Bishnupur near Joka, Kolkata.
