FIIs net sellers of Rs 266.96 crore in futures and options segments on January 09

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 266.96 crore in futures and options segments on Monday, January 09, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 107.69 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 29.12 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 387.58 crore and they also sold stock options worth Rs 16.19 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on January 09, 2012 is 32.01%.
