Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals has restarted production at its Ammonia-IV Plant which was under shut down to attend the Isothermal Shift Reactor (ISR) issue. The company has also restarted production at Urea - II Plant.
Earlier, the company’s Ammonia-IV Plant remained shut for a period of 12 days from August 24, 2014 with a view to attend the Isothermal Shift Reactor (ISR), which has developed minor technical problem. The Plant upon resolution would come back into the mainstream. During the period, the Urea II plant of the company was also remained closed.
