Goodwill Hospital and Research Centre’s initial public offering (IPO), which began on dismal note on December 30, 2011 has been withdrawn by its promoters. Till sixth day of issue i.e. January 06, 2012 the investor community subscription was just 0.01 times, which coerced the promoters to back off from IPO.
As per the data available with the NSE, total bid of 18060 shares were received for the issue of 3542857 shares and 6300 bids were received at the cut-off price till January 06, 2012.
The promoters intended to utilize issue proceeds for setting up of Diagnostic Centre at Faridabad; establishment of six polyclinics; re-payment/pre-payment of loan facilities by raising Rs 62 crore through this is issue.
