Cox and Kings rises on selling Camping division of its arm to Homair Vacances

Cox & Kings (India) is currently trading at Rs. 300.90, up by 0.85 points or 0.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 300.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 302.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 306.00 and Rs. 297.00 respectively. So far 68128 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 310.05 on 28-Aug-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.85 on 29-Oct-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 306.00 and Rs. 291.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4108.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.49% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.82% and 14.91% respectively.

Cox & Kings has sold Camping Division of its subsidiary Holidaybreak to Homair Vacances for a total consideration of 89.2 million pound, following the approval of the deal from the Competition and Markets Authority.

The Camping Division provides outdoor family holidays on over 170 third-party owned campsites across 12 European countries. Cox & Kings acquired the Camping Division as part of its acquisition of Holidaybreak in 2011. Homair Vacances is a major operator in relation to outdoor holidays in France.
