Cupid gains on receiving additional orders worth Rs 2.4 crore

Cupid is currently trading at Rs 29.62, up by 1.41 points or 5.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 28.21 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 28.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 29.62 and Rs. 26.80 respectively. So far 203137 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 29.52 on 16-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.05 on 12-Dec-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 29.52 and Rs. 24.31 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.81% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.03% and 51.16% respectively.

Cupid has received additional orders worth Rs 2.4 crore from the UN Population fund UNFPA Copenhagen, Denmark to supply Male Condoms to countries in Europe, Central Asia and Africa by March 2015. The Company is expecting the trend in increased revenue (order) to continue in the FY 2014/15.

Cupid manufactures and markets varieties of male and female condoms, water based lubricant, latex dental dams and probe covers. Cupid has a diverse product basket available in over 25 countries worldwide.
