Reliance Industries’ telecom arm - Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJIL) has inked a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with GTL Infrastructure, a Global Group enterprise, engaged in the business of Shared Passive Telecom Infrastructure in India, for tower infrastructure sharing.
GTL Infrastructure, together with Chennai Network Infrastructure (CNIL), has a combined tower portfolio of more than 27,800 towers spread across 22 telecom Circles in India, and serving all the major telecom operators. The company has a pan India tower portfolio that is balanced across key growth regions of Metros and B & C class circles.
Reliance Jio Infocomm (RJIL) is India’s largest private sector company, is the first telecom operator to hold pan India Unified License. This license authorizes RJIL to provide all telecommunication services except Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite Service.
