Infosys strengthens on expanding partnership with Hitachi

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 3736.00, up by 36.10 points or 0.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 3699.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3700.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3741.45 and Rs. 3690.00 respectively. So far 49733 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3847.20 on 03-Mar-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2894.00 on 30-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3745.90 and Rs. 3626.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 214080.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 15.94% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.66% and 12.23% respectively.

Infosys has expanded its partnership with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) to bring next-generation infrastructure and data center transformation solutions to enterprises. The new solutions will help improve operational efficiencies and facilitate smooth transition of their IT infrastructure to new cloud-based environments.

Infosys will also establish a center of excellence to co-create pay-per-use solutions with HOS. Enterprises can then convert a significant share of their capital expenditure, related to infrastructure and data center management, into operational expenditure.
