Idea Cellular adds 17.20 lakh new mobile subscribers in August

Idea Cellular, one of the biggest cellular carrier of the country, has added 17.20 lakh new mobile subscribers in August, 2014. Following the addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 14.18 crore. The country’s third-largest operator has a market share of 18.91%.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
