Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) is all set to construct toilet blocks in 50 schools with an outlay of Rs 1.85 crore under the Swachh Vidyalay Abhiyan programme during the current year.
In the first phase, the toilet blocks will be constructed in Government High School, Chelaaru; Government High School, Soorinje; Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat (DKZP) Higher Primary School, Thokur Jokatte; DKZP Higher Primary School, Katipalla 3rd block; DKZP Higher Primary School and Government Composite High School at Krishnapura 5th block; Government High School and DKZP Higher Primary School at Porkodi Kenjar; Government High School, Krishnapura 7th block; and DKZP Model Higher Primary School, Katipalla 8th block.
MRPL, a schedule ‘A’ CPSE and a subsidiary of ONGC is a State of Art Grassroot Refinery located in a beautiful hilly terrain, north of Mangalore city, in Dakshin Kannada region.
