Emami trades jubilantly on FIIs increasing stake to 17.23% in Q2

Emami is currently trading at Rs. 727.20, up by 30.05 points or 4.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 697.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 699.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 734.75 and Rs. 699.00 respectively. So far 14341 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 734.75 on 13-Oct-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 421.00 on 28-Jan-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 734.75 and Rs. 681.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16584.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.74% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.66% and 8.61% respectively.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have increased their stake in Emami to 17.23% in September quarter against 16.77% at the end of June quarter.

Emami manufactures products under various categories namely Hair Care, Skin Creams and Lotions, Talcum Powder and ayurvedic health care products. Emami's Boroplus portfolio is worth Rs 400 crore, comprising of three brands -- BoroPlus Antiseptic Cream, Boroplus Advanced Moisturizing Lotion and BoroPlus Prickly Heat Powder.
