According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1653.89 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Friday’s data, October 17, 2014.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1030.18 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 623.71 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 159.50 crore, while they sold stock options worth Rs 89.99 crore.
