FIIs hike stake in Infosys to 42.67% in Q2FY15

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have raised their stake in Infosys, one of the India’s leading software exporters. FIIs’ shareholding increased by 109 basis points to 42.67% at the end of September 2014 quarter from 41.58% as on June 30, 2014.  Besides, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) have increased shareholding in the company. DIIs’ shareholding increased by 40 basis points to 14.48% at the end of September 2014 quarter from 14.08% as on June 30, 2014.

However, Non Institutions were holding 11.93% stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 30 basis points from 12.23% as on June 30, 2014. Corporate bodies were holding 0.56% stake at the end of September 2014 quarter, down 5 basis points from 0.61% as on June 30, 2014.

Meanwhile, promoters’ shareholding reduced by 2 basis points to 15.92% at the end of September 2014 quarter from 15.94% as on June 30, 2014.
