Sundaram BNP Paribas Home Finance, a joint venture (JV) between Sundaram Finance and BNP Paribas, is planning to acquire portfolios from smaller housing finance companies, which are focussing affordable housing space.
In this regard, the company is in talks with a company and in the next 15 days it will close the deal. While this particular portfolio size would be around Rs 11 crore, the company would buy around Rs 50 crore worth of such assets at end of this fiscal.
Sundaram Finance is one of the oldest and largest providers of finance for the acquisition of commercial vehicles of all makes. The commercial vehicle finance provided by it helps the small operators to acquire vehicles with minimum hassle and documentation.
