Brickwork Ratings has assigned Diamond Power Infrastructure's (DPIL) credit rating A- for long term and A2 for Short term for the short term bank facilities. The ratings assigned to the bank facilities of DPIL factored long experience of promoters with established track record in power T&D sector, long standing relations with reputed customers' base, vertically integrated operation, resulting in better operating efficiency, and healthy book position.
The Ratings also factor DPIL's presence across value chain in power infrastructure with wide range of products, healthy growth in operation s and significant in capital structure led by sustained equity infusion by the promoters
Diamond Power Infrastructure is engaged in five business verticals--cables (low, high and extra high voltage), conductors, transformers, towers and various EPC projects-- where it undertakes planning, designing and commissioning of turnkey transmission and distribution projects.
