Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to arrive in Varanasi on a two-day visit next month, during which he will discuss the plan of adopting a village from his constituency under the MP Model Village Scheme, besides inaugurating a trauma centre at the Banaras Hindu University and all necessary planning and security arrangements will be made by the district administration ahead of his visit. Additional District Magistrate said that the letter informing the district administration from PMO was received last night.

A brief schedule (minute to minute detail) of PM Modi from the PMO was not received. There are also other programs in which PM will participate.

Earlier, PM Modi's two-day visit to the city on October 14 and 15 was postponed due to cyclone 'Hudhud'. Various programs including BHU's Trauma centre inauguration in the city were too postponed and have been re-scheduled for his further visit.
