Bharti Airtel’s subsidiary Airtel Africa has entered into partnership pact with Dubai based mobile satellite services provider Thuraya to launch its products and services in 12 African countries and tap the growing demand for communication services.
Thuraya’s satellite phones and IP+ broadband terminals can now be purchased by Airtel’s customers through the company's Africa subsidiaries in the Congo-Brazzaville, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia.
