Bayer CropScience reports 51% rise in Q2 net profit

Bayer CropScience has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company has registered 51.15% rise in its net profit at Rs 176.1 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 116.5 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 17.65% at Rs 1268.7 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 1078.3 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Bayer CropScience is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of crop-protection solutions, and trades in seeds on behalf of group company Bayer Bioscience.
