Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 18.59 crore for the quarter under review as compared to a net loss of Rs 123.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 9.91% at Rs 1194.04 crore for Q2FY15 as compared Rs 1086.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
SCI is the only Indian shipping company operating break-bulk service, international container service, liquid / dry bulk service, offshore service, passenger service, in addition to manning / managing a large number of vessels on behalf of various government departments and organizations.
