Bhushan Steel reports net loss of Rs 297.19 crore in Q2

Bhushan Steel has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The company has posted a net loss of Rs 297.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to a net profit of Rs 60.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 30.31% at Rs 2966.55 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2276.60 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

Bhushan Steel, formerly known as Bhushan Steel & Strips, is one of the leading players in the steel industry with steel making capacity of 2.2 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA).
