Non-banking lender Bajaj Finance has announced the results for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 119.99 crore for the quarter ended December 2011, up 57.09% from Rs 76.39 crore in the corresponding year-ago period. Its total income has increased by 55.70% to Rs 602.77 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 387.12 crore for the similar quarter of the previous year.
The company's net non-performing assets (NPA) ratio came down to 0.25% against 1.10% in the year-ago period, Jain said, adding that it was down in absolute terms as well.
