Surana Ventures has participated in the Solar Photovoltaic Water Pump tender dated September 30, 2014 for supply, installation and commissioning for 4,000 sets for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States under the rate contract system for a total value of Rs 200 crore. The NREDCAP has issued a letter of acceptance for entering into the rate contract agreement, as the Company has stood L1 (lowest bidder) for 5 HP AC model SPV Pump sets in the bid. This contract will be for turnkey procurement, EPC and maintenance for a period of 5 years.
The company has an installed capacity of 80 mw to manufacture solar modules and is in the process of setting up a solar cell manufacture facility with a capacity of 120 mw near Hyderabad. The company has already acquired the machinery from Scott Solar and plan to implement the project by March 2015.
