Gujarat Foils touches the roof on its Chhatral factory receiving DMF Type III Certification

Gujarat Foils is currently locked at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 44.00, up by 4.00 points or 10.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 40.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 44.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 44.00 and Rs. 44.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 117.00 on 18-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 33.00 on 30-Nov-2011.

Gujarat Foils’ Chhatral factory is in receipt of the prestigious and coveted DMF TYPE III Certification from the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Department of Health and Human Services, Beltsville, USA. This will now enable the company to approach global and Indian pharmaceutical companies for supplies of packaging materials for their products. Presently, these pharmaceutical companies can use the company's DMF Number for their ANDA submissions.

Further, this certification will allow the company to make significant progress in the direct pharma segment and will help the company going a long way in establishing itself as a preferred packaging vendor to the pharmaceutical industry.

Gujarat Foils manufactures aluminum rolled products in India. The company offers closure, casserole or tagger, coil, cable wrap, fin, and eyelet products.
