VIP Industries’ Haridwar manufacturing plant has caught fire at some part of the Stores Department, luggage assembly department and Injection molding department on November 22, 2014. Production was temporarily discontinued and has already resumed from November 24, 2014. The entire unit of the Company is adequately covered under insurance. The extent of damage has been assessed, survey has been undertaken and the Company is in the process of putting up its claim.
VIP Industries is engaged in manufacturing of moulded luggage (from high-density polyethylene), soft luggage (from nylon, polyester, jupolene, printed polyester) and ABS luggage (from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastic) including briefcases, suitcases, handbags, carry bags and vanity cases.
