Siemens reports around three fold jump in Q4 net profit

Siemens has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended September 30, 2014

The company has registered around three fold jump in its net profit at Rs 436.78 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 149.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 0.67% at Rs 3250.29 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3272.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

For the year ended September 30, 2014, the company has posted over three fold jump in its net profit at Rs 603.18 crore as compared to Rs 193.95 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company declined by 5.45% at Rs 10766.44 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 11387.16 crore for the period ended September 30, 2013.
