VIP Industries has estimated loss on account of fire in the Stores department, luggage assembly department and Injection moulding department of Haridwar manufacturing plant of the Company is expected to be in the range of Rs 15 crore to Rs 20 crore. The Company has already put up its claim with insurance Company. The Company has already taken adequate measures based on which the production activity has already resumed and no further loss is being incurred on account of the said fire.
VIP Industries is engaged in manufacturing of moulded luggage (from high-density polyethylene), soft luggage (from nylon, polyester, jupolene, printed polyester) and ABS luggage (from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene plastic) including briefcases, suitcases, handbags, carry bags and vanity cases.
