Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 1,35,825.41 crore on December 01 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 54,13,922.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 11,351.38 crore, Stock Futures Rs 23,923.87 crore and Index Options Rs 90,024.27 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 10,525.89 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 0.99, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.05 and that of Stock Options was 0.49.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were DLF (1.17), Bank of Baroda (1.14), Ranbaxy (1.07), PNB (1.05) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (1.04).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 2.89 million of Open Interest in the December month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 1.22 million of Open Interest in the December month contract; while Infosys witnessed an addition of 0.63 million of Open Interest, Axis Bank witnessed an addition of 1.65 million of Open Interest in the December month contract and Maruti Suzuki witnessed a contraction of 0.02 million of Open Interest in the December month's future contract.
