Physical rubber prices declined on Thursday due to lack of genuine buyers in the markets. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 113/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 114/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 104/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 105/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of December delivery declined marginally to Rs 112.12 compared to its previous close of Rs 112.14, while January delivery closed at Rs 111.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs 111.25 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
