BJP will win J&K polls as well as West Bengal assembly elections: Amit Shah

12 Dec 2014 Evaluate

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah said at the Agenda Aaj Tak - 2014 conclave that his party will win the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls as well as the West Bengal assembly elections scheduled for 2016 and he added that people of J&K wanted development and will vote for the party.

Amit Shah said that the media is still busy in dividing the voters of the state along religious lines. We are fighting the polls on issues like electricity, water and education and he is sure the BJP will win in Jammu and Kashmir. Expressing confidence that the BJP would register a thumping victory in West Bengal, he dismissed allegations by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that the BJP is using the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to intimidate her.

Amit Shah also said that the accused in the Saradha scam as well as the Burdwan blast are related to the Trinamool Congress (TMC). If the CBI has a political motive then let Mamata ji say that these people are innocent.
