Lupin has reported results for its third quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company has posted a 12.91% fall in net profit of Rs 214.61 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 246.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 16.61% from Rs 1206.42 crore for Q3FY11 to Rs 1406.85 crore in the quarter under review.
On the consolidated basis the group has posted a net profit rise of 4.92% to Rs 235.06 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 224.03 crore in the same quarter last year. Total Income of the company improved by 20.39% to Rs 1822.24 crore for the quarter compared to Rs 1513.60 crore in the quarter, year ago.
