Haryana’s Cooperative mills crush 31.54 lakh quintals of cane

So far during the ongoing crushing season, the cooperative sugar mills in the state of Haryana have crushed 31.54 lakh quintal of sugarcane and produced 2.21 lakh quintals of sugar, as per information provided by Haryana Minister of State for Cooperation Bikram Singh Yadav. During the same period last year, 31.39 lakh quintals of sugarcane was crushed by cooperative sugar mills, producing 2.07 lakh quintals of sugar.

The cooperative sugar mill Shahabad has so far crushed a maximum of 8.11 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced 69,500 quintals of sugar, followed by cooperative sugar mill Rohtak which has crushed 5.21 lakh quintals of sugarcane, producing 32,755 quintals of sugar.

Similarly, cooperative sugar mill Karnal has crushed 3.77 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has produced 30,340 quintals of sugar; Cooperative Sugar Mill Panipat crushed 3.75 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 30,525 quintals of sugar while Cooperative Sugar Mill Meham crushed 2.48 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 12,450 quintals of sugar.

Besides, Sonipat sugar mill, Gohana sugar mill and Kaithal mill have crushed 2.40 lakh quintals of sugarcane, producing 15,200 quintals of sugar; 2.37 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 13,750 quintals of sugar and 1.67 lakh quintals of sugarcane, producing 9,600 quintals of sugar respectively.

Further, sugar mills in Jind crushed 1.22 lakh quintals of sugarcane and thus produced 7,350 quintals of sugar while Hafed Sugar Mill Assandh has crushed 2.93 lakh quintals of sugarcane, producing 22,425 quintals of sugar.
