HDFC gains on inking agreement for leasehold rights of land, building

Housing Development Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 1135.35, up by 4.00 points or 0.35 % from its previous closing of Rs. 1131.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1130.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1140.00 and Rs. 1130.75 respectively. So far 8145 shares were traded on the counter.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) and Hindustan Unilever (HUL) have signed an agreement for assignment of HUL’s leasehold rights of the land and building situated on Plot Nos. 165 and 166 of the Backbay Reclamation Estate, Fort Division, Mumbai in state of Maharashtra.

HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
