Coromandel International has formally completed the process of amalgamation of Sabero Organics Gujarat with itself. This follows the filing of the orders of the High Court of Hyderabad and High Court of Gujarat approving the scheme of amalgamation. With the filing of the court orders with the respective Registrar of Companies, the scheme has become effective from December 31, 2014.
Coromandel International is the country’s second-largest phosphatic fertilizer player. Its crop protection business produces insecticides, fungicides and herbicides and markets these products in India and across the globe. The firm has also ventured into the retail business, setting up more than 640 rural retail centres in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
