MindTree, a global IT and Product Engineering Services Company has started work on its 20-acre campus, to be named MindTree Kalinga, as a part of the Chandaka Special Economic Zone in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Bangalore's reputed architects, Chandavarkar & Associates have designed the 20-acre campus taking a cue from the ancient architectural principles behind local temples and applied them to a modern design. The campus is being built in a phase-wise manner and the first phase of 200,000 square feet will be completed in 2013.
At an impressive ceremony, students from various local educational institutions poured earth specially brought in from many different places in the world at the base of a Krishna Ficus tree at the proposed site. The chief minister of Odisha consecrated the event by pouring earth from the state.
MindTree offers IT services across the consumer goods value chain, spanning product development and manufacturing intelligence systems, supply chain execution and optimization solutions and customer and consumer management solutions.
