Container Corporation of India has decided to increase the shareholding limit of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in the company from present 30% to 34%. The company has already received its board approval at its meeting held on October 29, 2014. Besides, the company will obtain shareholders approval for this purpose through postal ballot route, a cut-off date of January 09, 2015 has been fixed for determining voting rights of members, who will be entitled to participate in the process.
