Physical rubber prices declined on Thursday

Physical rubber prices dropped on Thursday on buyer resistance in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety slid to Rs 123/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 126/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 118/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 121/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of January delivery inched up to Rs 122.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs 122.54, while February delivery closed at Rs 123.71 compared to its previous close of Rs 123.67 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
