According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1179.20 crore in futures and options segments on Friday, January 27, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 164.72 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 521.18 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 522.17 crore and they sold stock options worth Rs 28.87 crore.
