FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 16 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7407.29 crore against gross sell of Rs 5714.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1692.35 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4383.39 crore with gross sales of Rs 1079.43 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3303.96 crore in debt.
