Physical rubber prices remain steady on Saturday

Physical rubber prices remained steady on Saturday, there was buyers resistance in the markets with no fresh enquiries from any major consuming industries and selected counters showed some movement amidst scattered transactions.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 191/kg and Rs 186.50/kg respectively.

In futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for February delivery closed at Rs 193.10 compared to its previous closing of Rs 193.95, while the contract for March delivery closed at Rs 197.20 compared to its previous closing of Rs 197.76 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
