Biocon reports 13% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Biocon has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2014.

The company has registered 4.47% fall in its net profit at Rs 57.28 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 59.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased marginally 1.95% at Rs 547.47 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 537.02 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company’s net profit after taxes & minority interest declined 13.39% to Rs 90.93 crore for the Q3 FY15 as compared to Rs 104.99 crore in Q3 FY14. However, the total income surged 8.26% to Rs 778.99 crore in the quarter under review as compared to Rs 719.57 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.
