Idea Cellular’s Q3 consolidated net profit surges 64%

Idea Cellular has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2014.

The company has registered 69.22% rise in its net profit at Rs 665.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 393.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased 22.35% at Rs 8070.81 crore for Q3FY15 as compared Rs 6596.44 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company’s net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit / (loss) of associates rose 64.00% to Rs 767.06 crore for the Q3 FY15 as compared to Rs 467.73 crore in Q3 FY14. Moreover, the total income surged 21.87% to Rs 8150.09 crore in the quarter under review as compared to Rs 6687.31 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.
