LJP President and Union minister Ramvilas Paswan described the saffron party as elder brother and said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be the face of NDA in the coming Bihar polls. Paswan said seat sharing among NDA partners was not a big issue and his party was not bothered about number of seats it would get and there only intention is that the present government in Bihar should be replaced.
Paswan said that who will fight on how many seats or on which seats is there internal issue and these will be decided during meetings held among ourselves (BJP, LJP, RLSP) when the polls come near. There all are on the same boat and there singular aim is to remove the JD(U) government in the state.
Paswan said that to a question of accepting senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi or somebody else as BJP chief ministerial candidate in Bihar, he said, Let polls come we all will meet and deliberate over the issue. The central leadership of BJP will decide about their candidate. Bihar elections will be fought under Narendra Modi's name and added the way Maharashtra or Haryana got a Chief Minister after the Assembly polls there, the same way we'll get a Chief Minister in Bihar, too. Narendra Modi will decide over the issue.
