Shree Cement has reported results for second quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The company has registered a fall of 18.88% in its net profit at Rs 93.68 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 115.49 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased 17.82% at Rs 1564.63 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 1328.03 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Shree Cement (SCL), belonging to B G Bangur - H M Bangur faction of Bangur family of Kolkata, is engaged in manufacturing of cement and power generation. SCL’s eight cement plants in Rajasthan and one grinding unit in Uttrakhand have an aggregate capacity of 13.5 mn tonnes p.a.
